Stay Young even when you are Old

Your health is one of your most important assets. Without your health, no amount of money or any material assets will be of any use to you. Thus, it is important for you to stay healthy by taking all the necessary precautions before you get sick. If you adopt a healthy lifestyle, then you are guaranteed to stay young even when you are old. However, you also have to make sure that you make a habit of keeping to a healthy lifestyle even as you get older. Here are some tips to help you guide in your quest for a healthy life:

1) Make sure that you exercise for at least 30 minutes a day for 5-6 times a week. This is important, as your body is geared toward being active. Hence, by making sure that you exercise, your body will be able to keep fit.
2) It is important for you to base your diet on fruits and vegetables. You should also focus your protein intake on lean proteins and fish. Of course, you should reduce your intake of red meat as much as possible.
3) You should stay away from salt, sugar and flour based products. As you know, these are stated as the Three Whites and by staying away from these, you can be sure that you will be able to stay healthier for longer.
4) Make sure that you meditate every day for couple of minutes to help relieve your stress. You should try to go to various outings in the weekends for decreasing your anxiety.
5) Make sure that you sleep for at least 7-8 hours every day as sleeping will help your body to recuperate every night.
6) Make sure that you lead an active lifestyle. Stay away from too much sunlight and too much synthetic chemicals as these can accumulate in your body after too long a period.
